Community Service Education Program

Heart of America Quilt has developed educational resources that will teach the values of community service and promote community service through study and participation for students in grades K through 12. The curriculum is designed to: - teach students about community service - have them participate in a local area community service project, and - encourage them to think and write about the experience. We have developed student quides and curriculum for grades: - K-3 - Middle School, and - Junior High/High School The goal of our educational program is to create a more enlightened world by establishing and maintaining a national level education program directed at creating greater awareness and involvement among citizens, beginning with children, and in community involvement with group communications at the Federal, State and Local levels.
